Blickling Hall (4 miles) hosts an exciting international programme of open air concerts, classical and pop, throughout the summer months. The formal gardens are nestled within 950 acres of stunning parkland, free for the public with bicycle hire available including children’s and baby carrying vehicles.

Felbrigg Hall (10 miles) comprises a stunning house, estate and kitchen garden plus a working farm which opens to the public during selected days in lambing season and the public can bottle-feed any orphaned lambs. During the spring the displays of rhododendrons and azaleas are stunning.

Houghton Hall (30 miles) & Holkham Hall (31 miles) are both fantastic venues set in beautiful parkland with exciting exhibitions, events and concerts hosted regularly. Well worth a trip.

The Coach House is only three miles from the historic, market town of Aylsham, which has an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs.
The beautiful Georgian towns of Holt and Burnham Market are within easy reach and definitely worth a trip to see their stunning Christmas light displays.

Norwich has fantastic shopping with independent boutiques and national chains. Great shopping is to be found in Chapelfield and Castle Mall shopping centres

There are numerous quality restaurants in North Norfolk serving fresh local produce with minimal food miles. There's something for everyone's budget from Michelin starred to fabulous local fish and chips or Cromer crab
