For any of our guests needing inspiration or last minute Christmas gifts, we have a multitude of fabulous Christmas Fairs. Here are our favourite, top 3 locations (all worth an extended visit), in no particular order ...
Holkham Hall Christmas Market
Not only is the setting breathtaking but the stallholders at the Christmas Fair are absolutely fabulous and wide-ranging. Our favourites include Staithe Smokehouse for locally sourced oysters and smoked fish and prawns; Period to Penthouse for handcrafted vintage and antique cutlery and gifts; Norfolk Spirits Company for rum and rum liqueurs and Norfolk Mushroomy.
Norwich Christmas Markets
The Norwich Christmas Market is one of the largest and oldest in the country, attracting visitors from across the region. Located in the city centre, it fills the streets with over 150 stalls selling everything from gifts to street food.
Highlights include the stunning Royal Arcade with its beautiful architecture and upmarket shops and the Global Market in the Forum. There is a wide variety of international and local crafts; delicious street food and entertainment such as ice skating, live music and a Santa's grotto.
Holt Christmas Market
During December the beautiful market town of Holt transforms into a festive wonderland, full of sparkly lights, cheerful stallholders and live music. The town is well known for its independent shops and vibrant community as well as Byford's, the Harrods of Holt, where you can buy anything you can think of!
Anyone staying with us this December can enjoy loads of amazing shopping opportunities, or why not just relax by the fire with a glass of wine and a good book!
